Cuba 1930 - Miami to Havana, Charles Lindbergh flown First Flight Cover (EDIFIL C34) (AAMS F5 44a) First Flight cover from Miami to Havana. Stamp canceled with a perfect strike of a MIAMI - Apr 26, 1930 - 3 PM duplex cds. This is the first leg of the FAM 5 flight from Miami to Havana to Cristobal, Canal Zone, flown by Col. Charles Lindbergh. Backstamped on arrival at Havana on the same day at 8 PM. Only 50 covers were flown. On the reverse, a previous owner applied a blue "LINDBERGHIANA" handstamp at the lower left corner and also his personal handstamp of: H.D.M. AAMS #391 at the lower right corner. Typewritten: "UNDER CATALOGUED - F5-44a - ONLY 50 PIECES". In great condition overall with no folds or tears, etc. The EDIFIL 2002 catalogue price is €300,- (US $400.00). VERY, VERY SCARCE
