Cuba 1954 - 15th Anniversary of the Postal Rocket Unofficial Souvenir Sheet on FDC.
The unofficial Souvenir Sheets issued by the Club Filatélico de la República de Cuba on occasion of the 15th Anniversary of the launching of the Experimental Postal Rocket, back in 1939. The souvenir sheet is on cover and cancelled on the First Day of issue, with the specially issued hadstamp. Furthermore, it is signed by Tomas A. Terry, that was the force behind the entire Postal Rocket experimental project, and that was one of the "greats" of Cuban stamp collecting of the time. There is some very light tropical staining on the cover that is almost invisible to the naked eye, but, as it is always the case looks much worse on the scanned picture.
